Mourning Evolution specializes in organizing meaningful Celebrations of Life for families who have experienced loss. Our team is dedicated to working closely with each family to honor their loved one in a way that is personal, intentional, and reflective of the life they lived.

No two services are the same. Every Celebration of Life (COL) is thoughtfully designed around the individuality of the person who has passed. Families meet one-on-one with our celebrant to plan a service that reflects the decedent’s values, traditions, beliefs, and lifestyle. Our goal is to create an experience that feels authentic, comforting, and deeply honoring.

In addition to Celebration of Life planning, Mourning Evolution offers Death Doula services, providing compassionate, non-medical support to individuals and families before, during, and after death. Our Death Doulas help guide families through the emotional, spiritual, and practical aspects of the end-of-life journey, ensuring dignity, presence, and informed choices throughout the process.

  • In-Home or Private Estate Memorial Services
    Intimate gatherings held in a personal, meaningful environment.

  • Graveside Memorial Services

Death Doula Services

At Mourning Evolution, our Death Doula services provide compassionate, non-medical support to individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey. We walk alongside you with presence, guidance, and care—honoring death as a deeply human experience deserving of dignity, understanding, and choice.

A Death Doula (also known as an End-of-Life Doula) supports individuals and their loved ones before, during, and after death by addressing emotional, spiritual, and practical needs. Our role is to offer education, advocacy, and grounding support so families feel informed, supported, and less alone.

How a Death Doula Can Support You

End-of-Life Planning & Education
